has this been a concern to anyone's doctor? My doctor wants to see more info on Alli before he recommends it for me. __________________ JEANNE |

I am also on bp meds and my doctor didn't have a problem with Alli. And, according to the book The Alli Diet Plan: your essential guide to success with Alli by Caroline Apovian, studies of orlistat (Alli) can have other health benefits besides weight loss. "The same studies found that dieters who took Alli also had greater decreases in cholesterol levels, blood pressure levels and waist circumference." That said, I believe I read something that stated Alli enhances the treatment effect of Pravastatin, the cholesterol med. I take. So, while I feel okay about taking Alli along with my meds. I think it's good your dr. is assessing your situation. Hope this helps. Good luck. |
